It's not Keebler or Nabisco that rules the cookie market. It's your daughter. It's your next door neighbor's niece. It's that uniform-clad girl with the badges on her chest sweetly smiling at you in front of Walmart, trying to get you to buy some cookies for her organization.
It's the Girls Scouts of the United States of America.
And during Girl Scout cookie season, they sucker everyone into purchasing some Samoas or Trefoils, claiming each cookie has its mission—to help girls do great things.
But what if you can't find that Girl Scout peddling cookies in front of Walmart? What if it's off-season for those delicious and addictive little crisps of delight? What if you want a Tagalong or Thin Mint cookie right now?

These doughnut-shaped cookies covered in caramel and coconut are another favorite. The Samoas are made by Little Brownie Bakers, while the Caramel deLites come from ABC. The Girls Scouts know what they're doing. Their Do-Si-Dos are crisp oatmeal cookies with delicious peanut butter filling, it's hard not to grab some of these.
