- The best way to mix the ingredients is by using your hands
- If you don't wish to bake these you can place them in the freezer for a couple of hours so they firm up
- If your mixture is not sticking together, ground up some more dates and add them in.
- If you double the batch you can save some and keep them in the freezer.
Save some money and make your own granola bars. These are very healthy and don't contain preservatives or refined sugar. All you will need to make these are:
- Pitted Dates (medjool dates are especially nice)
- Walnuts, Cashews, Pumpkin Seeds
- Grated Carrot
- Oats & Wheat Bran
- Cinnamon
