How To: Make snacks for kids

Make snacks for kids

In this video, from happyauershow, we learn how to make some healthy snacks for kids. First, is a sweet Kid Kabob. You need a skewer, strawberry, pineapple, marshmallow, and Rice Krispies Treats. Simply make a pattern on the kabob however you'd like. You can use whatever fruit your children like best. The next snack is Kid Sushi. For this you will need Rice Krispies Treats and Fruit Roll-Ups. Roll up the Rice Krispies Treats in the Fruit Roll-Up, cut in sections, and you have the Sushi Rolls. Another great snack is the Grab A Snackin' Handful. This has goldfish, yogurt-covered raisins, honey roasted peanuts, pretzels, and M&M's. Pour everything that your children like into a goldfish bowl. With the Ants on a Healthy Log snack you'll need celery, peanut butter, and raisins. Cut the ends of the celery off. Fill the celery with peanut butter. Sprinkle on the raisins so they look like little ants! Now Butterflies on a Log only requires celery, cream cheese, raisins and pretzels. Use two raisins for the eyes and pretzels for the wings. The last treat we'll mention today is the Make A Monster Pizza. For this fun snack you need pre-made mini-pizzas, green and red peppers, grape tomatoes, and corn. Decorate faces on the pizza made out of these or any other delicious vegetables. Then just put them in the oven until the cheese is melted.
